31 Days {Day 23} : Making Monkey Bread

Most evenings, Colton likes to push over a chair to the counter and help me cook dinner. He’s very good at stirring things. So when we were having some people over and we decided to make some Monkey Bread, it seemed like a great opportunity to adventure into some baking with Colton.

We made sure we had all the ingredients together.

Colton was a great assistant, especially when it came to shaking up the dough and cinnamon and sugar mixture.

After the dough was set, we prepared the sugar sauce that adds the super gooeyness that makes Monkey Bread so tasty.

Which of course requires butter…

Colton wanted to taste things before they were done.

But was a good boy at waiting for everything to finish.

wondering about getting a taste

We made a little Monkey Bread for Colton because he was so good.
