We did do some at home sensory testing. It involved blindfolding a three year old, which he loved.
First we did a taste test . . .
We gathered various tastes from the kitchen
We let him see the salt and sugar. They evoked two different reactions.
He loved taste testing the food and asked for all of it except the coconut. Colton loves eating.
The taste test was a success, so Cole was all ready for a smell test the next day.
It was definitely more challenging than the taste test, but I was impressed with how many of them he did know. The flower, soap and baby lotion threw him . . . maybe because he was trying to think of a food.
We did do a touch test earlier this summer. So we covered all five senses.
